dont worry not my player ;-)

i was not asking for help. I found this player on transfer list and i was a little surprised, that he is shooting that bad. dont remember his experience nor do i know the offensive flow of his team, however i have many players with worse shooting skills, some of them are even pitiful and atrocious experienced but they have better shooting percentages then he does.

I imagine it also depends on the type of perimeter defenses he's been facing (which is, I guess, also indirectly related to the quality of the shots he's getting).

obviously this is true. I aggree a 100%!!!

however it must be a lot of coincidence if his team is always facing the best SG defenders (and maybe 3-2 and 1-3-1 zones) and all the other good shooters in bb face worse defenders. this might happen during one game maybe 3 or 4, but all season would be a lot of coincidence...

Well, if it is heavily dependent on the team defense rating and not so much of the individual defensive rating of the SG that's guarding him, that situation can be explained with people simply loading perimeter defenses against him. I imagine this is easily checked by looking at the actual games.

Plus, 6 games is a pretty small sample, and don't forget that a stellar 3pt shooter will only make, say, 45% of his 3pt shots

i was wondering on the relation of inside shot for guards, is it official that inside shot is important for shots outside of the zone?

From the rules:

Inside Shot: A better inside shooter will make more two-point baskets.

Since the BBs understand the difference between 2 and 3, the answer is definitely:

"NO!"

Try to tell to your guard not to go inside and shoot.

In my opinion inside shot is needed for every position.
