hi there I'm going to be okay this year as I still make about $50k each week but if my three trainess improve as well this season as they did last then I will need to get promoted to keep them all.

How about modifying your training so your players don't get overpriced. Maybe focus on secondary skills. I changed my training to add more passing and outside shot for my big men so the salary he'll end up with is more manageable.

Hi there I already have them on a 4 week cycle so they are inmproving but not massively in one area - my best player is proficient in one area and strong in 4 others waiting to pop so his salary only jumped to $9k+ this season he is only 19 so has a fair amount of potential.

This is a fine idea if training is your prime objective. You have to play you C/PF at PG/SG to train them passing and more often than not they are going to initially suck at it so its a risk you are going to have to take as you might lose games by playing guys out of position

Hi MB

I suuffered that last season playing my PG and SG's out of position for the season - lost some big games and missed out on promotion but think it was worth it. I have three really good prospects plus another couple who just pick pick up pops on the one vs one training week. Hopefully this year I will be able to finish higher this season and be better placed for a shot at Div II.

thanks

I'll be fine - but I was operating with a huge profit buffer last season and was running a very low salary team since I emphasize defense and don't seek out high level scorers.

I saw about a 25% salary increase and a 15% TV money increase, but the salary increase was mostly training, I believe. My bigger concern is that I may have mis-judged the market cycle and when all my trainees are ready for the transfer list I may get less for them than if I would have put them up before the last playoffs despite their getting lots of training since then.

I estimate that I will still probably make $175k-$200k profit per week for most of the season if I can stay just above .500.

Yeah the salary increase from the adjustments was 5-10%. Luckily for me it coincided with me going up a division, in div IV I would have had to rethink the strategy
