not surprised at all. the reason i bring it up though is new players see the one ball n dont know if its correct or not

im not asking the 1 ball posters of correct posts aka morons to five balls posts, im asking the people who see the posts as correct to 5 ball them, or if a post that is correct helps you then 5 ball it.

This thread deserves 1 ball post already...honestly i don't see point of such threads..it wont change anything,people are still gona mess around etc...whenever there is post rating system in some forum or site there is always people complaining about their post rated and for no good reason...
Also if new players pick who to listen to by post ratings then mmm,excuse me...

He is right, though. It seems like the rating system isn't working properly. The purpose of rating should be to let new players know whom to listen to and whom to ignore. But, it seems like it has just become a game, or a sort of popularity contest. Perhaps it should be suggested that only experienced players who have earned their way up the ranks should be aloud to rate posts. As far as his morons comment, I have seen it many times were all the posts in a thread are one balled regardless of any other factors by some one who just felt like doing it, or was bored, or wasn't held as a child. How can you not call them morons.

Thing is though over the course of time the posts do even out. Of course there will be the constant 1 balls but those do get evened out on the good posters. For example look at members such as Josef Ka, Rip88, Coco, and BB-Charles all members of the community who constantly write out detailed well thought out posts are members of the exclusive 4 ball club. While others who constantly are giving bad advice are below 3 balls. Since everyone gets 1 balled (Yes some more than others, but in general they deserve it) it does even out across the community.


Note: I'm very surprised BB-Edju is sitting at 3 balls I would think by now he'd be down below that since he is the only member I give 1 balls to (daily) I would appreciate anyone else who wanted to join in the vendetta. Thanks in advance ;)
