Yeah, this sounds a little complicated, but I really like the idea. It's sort of like Dr. Frankenstein piecing together a customized player with specific skills to fit his team and then seeing if such a player is available on the TL.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

I personally didnt like when was introduced searching by height and potential, because wider opportunities there are, smaller probability that users could get to see some filtered out players which could be interresting for them any way.

Its then like when you put on TL a player, you cannot expect high demand, because usually there arent much people who actually see him. And in advance, people sometimes doesnt know what they want before they see that.

I like the idea, when I search for players, what I really like to do is add the values to have an idea of how good a player is. So in the ratings you gave with JS prominent = 10, JR mediocre = 5.... If you can include some or all the skills depending on what the user like to include, then sum those values all together, that would be great. What I mean exactly is if you for example choose to sum all the 12 skills listed above from JS, JR,...,Stamina, FT; you would get 10 + 5 + 7 + 9 + 9 + 4 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 5 + 4 + 2 = 76. I do that with my players on Excel and I have my own way of determining how good a player is. For example, if I'm looking for big man I'd include IS,ID,REB,SB. Yeah I personally don't like the idea that I could be missing on a really good player because of one skill out of my whole search parameter had just 1 level less than the minimum.

I like it. +1 to having 6 options instead of 4.

Same here. I'd also like to be able to filter for retired ("Free Agent") players.

Why?

If you're searching for retired players prior to Tuesday night (USA EST), it's very difficult to wade through the TL and get to the point where you can view the "free agents" on the market.

Another idea is being able to search by end time - for example, I could search for all auctions ending between 10PM tomorrow and 2AM Thursday. I actually greatly prefer this to the retired player suggestion - but hey, I'd like both.

I was more gearing toward the point that there isn't any reason I can think of to search specifically for retired players. The only difference between them and any other player is the asking price, and you can already control for that through the salary filter.
