Dont buy a 30k player. I did something similar, and am struggeling in division IV. everyone is going to be much better in division 4, so you will want to have at least 1.5-2 million in cash reserves. I might regelate(get sent down) because of this. Just stay in your current division for at least 2 more seasons, and train a 18 yo. Just stay around the middle of the pack in your league, and expand your arena a lot becasue then you will get a lot more money.

In 2-3 seasons when you have huge cash reserves buy a player with like 12k salary. that will be enough to promote. Then during the offseason buy yourself a few million dollar players for division 4.

BTW, you cant get a 30k salarie guy for less than a million anyway.

I kinda agree with shoe lover here. Stay in your Div for maybe a season or 2 and get money and all that. I joined last season, didn't expand much, actually won my league championship and now I'm getting killed in D IV... Ive expanded some this season and have 5 G and SF that I train with my big men some older players with decent skills. Im probly getting demoted back to D V and ill just be training and try to earn cash until I get back to D IV then buy some pretty skilled players and hopefully be able to win some games.

Anyway, just don't rush and try to get used to the game this season, find out about training, training minutes, cup and all that, then next season you will have a fresh start and know the game already.

Im confused by your post frankly. You bought some guys on the TL(perhaps to train?). But it looks like you are trying to flip them for profit. Instead you should be selling/ cutting guys that don't fit into your team plan. And believe me it is best to have a plan for the rest of the season, and an idea of where you want to be next season. As someone mentioned above, stick to training guards or big men. To reiterate, stop going crazy on the TL until you know what kind of players you need.

Hmm, I wouldn't be too worried about promoting, do it if you can, the money will help. And if you manage gameshape and enthusiasm I think you'll do better than you expect. A team in my league, GTown Ninjas, went bot earlier in the season and the new manager with a completely new team has built them into a playoff team in only half a season, so it is possible.

I know i had quite a bit of transfers but its because my team started off with really bad players so i had to fire like 12 of them so I guess thats what led me to the TL..But now that I look at it, I see i wasted like 150,000k in there for stupid players..I think i just got to be more careful. And also do you guys think I should just train my big guys and buy like guards that are about 10-15k salary, when i get the money to?

10-15k really aren't necessary, you could probably get by with playing your bigmen trainees and a couple of 6-8k guys on the wing and put yourself in a position to promote, depending on your league.

Only I would say for a beginner is start building bigger arena.. Don't worry to much about your players yet.
