Roll the dice, Harris wanted out fast and I am pretty sure that Prokhorov can be pretty convincing. I'd bet you that the facilities in Brooklyn are amongst the best in the association, and he will spare no expense to make this team a contender.
As pissed about it now as Deron Williams is, I'll bet he stays with them.

They must have come to some long term agreement with Williams, right? Otherwise, they're just really dumb.

Firstly, no. They didn't.

Secondly, why 'dumb'? Guy has a year and a half left on his contract. And I have no doubts that Prokhorov can be VERY persuasive.
And if it works for them... they got an elite point for a guy you'd describe as "pretty good" and a prospect, rather than trade half the team. Seems like a very good roll of the dice for my money.
