Well, your chances of promoting are pretty bad, but it can be done I think. If you win the next 2 games, you'll be 11-11. The team in 3rd plays the top 2 teams, so they might lose both, which would put you tied for 4th with them at 11-11. You also need to make up a lot of ground in point differential too, so it is very unlikely, but technically still possible.

I read the main FAQ after I posted the previous message... (Doh!)

I got a better understanding now and realize this game takes a lot of patience to see results. I think I may have messed up my team though, as now I have a negative net gain after purchasing staff and kinda blowing my budget on transfers. I think I got my division on lock and should see some profit after my fans start appreciating my team, but I dunno.

Thanks for the replies!

RECAP:

So since joining, in league games I have gone 2-1 (not setting lineups for game 1) - I now sit in 5th place, I need to win my game in 3.5 hours and the 4th place team needs to lose for me to make playoffs. The team in 4th (a bot team I think) is playing a guy who joined a a few days ago who has yet to set lineups. I am scared.

Wish me luck!

Damn, you just needed a bit more luck in the other matchup... 1 point away from the playoffs. At least ya seem to have the hang of the game now, and should make it to the playoffs next season with HCA.
