opponent scouting not draft scouting. You should not have to pay for this. After a period of time in real life it would be obvious what kinds of shots a player likes. Here we would have to watch each game and chart the shots ourselves. Not much fun and a huge time waster.

Besides its not like we are actually "watching the game" Its much harder to chart this in a text based game like this

Look at the stats, if a player never shoots 3 he isn't a 3pt shooter. If the team does look inside and the SF scores alot, even if he shoots some 3 we know he makes IS works as well. If a player rating is high and his stats suck then likely he's good defender. There is enough info available to be able to tell those things you just got to connect the dots between stats and tactics.

I have to disagree. I have a guys who has good JS and bad JR. He has taken 18 threes in 186 shots. It would be less if I didnt play run and gun or motion a few times. His two point JS is his strength, but you would never know that looking at the stats. And not just SF. PF and C too. I have a couple of guys at PF/C who have solid jumpers and they rain down 2 point jumpers all day long. I'm taking advantage of the fact 99% wont chart shots and have no idea my PF/C have good jumpers. They use their inside IS/ID/REB monsters and I take advantage of their weak OD.

Its not the biggest deal in the world, but it would be a nice caveat for the hardcore gamer/strategist/basketball nut.

The bottom line is that if they R&G or LI it tells you more about what you need to know on your game preparation than what their skillset is.

You did bring in an idea thou, maybe they can put next to each of the scores in the schedule what offensive and defensive strategy they used from that game instead of having to look again and again in each one, it would include your offensive and defensive strategy for that game also.

let's do a auto set-lineup, so we would not need to scout opponent no more :D if you spend more time for this game, you should be rewarded.

It would be great in the game viewer if you could select a player, and it would show you which ones were their shots (similar to being able to pick a quarter, and see where the shots came from for that quarter). This would then avoid players having to watch the whole matches, and overall give players a better tool to analyze games.
