Here is my guy, Spasoje Šcepanovic (4386863).

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: average Handling: prolific
Driving: proficient Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: sensational Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: awful Free Throw: inept

Similar to your guy, but with a slightly better js. He tore it up scoring wise, top scorer 2 years in a row. He even outscored 40k a week guys. A defensive liabilty now I am in D2, but still scored 18 points a game for me last season. Short term I think he could be great for you in D5, and will still score for you in D4, but his defence is a liability which means he will probably only be a great bench player once you promote.

Thanks for the advice. My only worry is that he is my ONLY true offensive threat...and I'm going to have to maintain his game shape which means some games he probably will have to come off the bench...like if I have a few games in a week...I can't start him in all...because his GS would decrease...wouldn't it?...so in the games I dont give him alot of minutes my team is going to to be about as offensively effective as Butler in the championship game....So my solution I guess is getting a similar threat off the transfer list...that way my team won't suffer the games he doesn't play. any suggestions on balancing minutes? thanks..i'm new so I appreciate all the help. :)

if you have a good backup for him, you can have your guy start twice and play about 30-36 MPG, which should be OK for your league games. Just don't play him in your scrimmages or cup games and you'll probably well off offensively.

Also, good ball movement helps even if the offense isn't that strong... so if his replacement is a better passer, you'll get more open looks for your other guys.
