the fact that it's happening in Safari and possibly other browsers (Opera) as well makes me think that the issue is a bit larger.

I have one Mac running Safari 5 (most current version) and sometimes I get logged out every time I try any link on this site. Other times it works reasonably well for one or two sessions and then the next day it gets terrible again. I can't fix the problem by clearing cookies/cache/etc. All I can say is it started the day I updated to Safari 5. Another Mac (which I'm currently on) has Safari 4.0.4 and it never gives any problems whatsoever. My iPad is working well so far, but I only bought it about a week ago.

Well, it's now doing the Safari 5 style constant logout dance. No problems with other sites.

Update on the iPad issue:

With Safari, I get constantly logged out every time I select any link. So, all I can do is read the front page. I downloaded Mercury to test another browser. The result is even worse: logging in results in going to the front page and being already logged out. Bottom line is that I cannot currently use BuzzerBeater.com on iPad. I could try some other browsers but I'm not too keen on paying for them, since I am otherwise 100% happy with Safari. Anyone else having similar problems? Or no problems with iPad? Clearing cache, cookies, history, everything is not helping me. Restarting the device is not helping. I have iPad2 3G running the latest software version.

(Obviously, I'm not writing this message on the iPad.)
