The extra money absolutely helps those new teams. I personally started in D IV and am now in D III. The income difference makes all the difference in the world as you can afford to buy newer / better players sooner and upgrade your arena. I personally envy the teams that get to start out in the lower leagues right away.

So, even if they do finish in last place or even near last and get demoted, the teams will receive a top draft pick, have more money to improve the team and arena even more, and will more than likely do very well the next season and will be able to come right back up. The new teams may have to learn to be patient however.

You would be one of the impatient ones in that case. ;-)

I've got a question, does a higher league mean higher quality players in the draft? Or do lower leagues get better picks? Or is every league the same level as far as drafting goes.

just to update this, we got 3 of those new managers in our league, the got their teams in the last positions, lost all or most of their games, and now it looks like they do not login no more.

Are third division teams stronger than fourth division teams? Basically most of the teams in III and IV started at the same time, no?

Nevertheless I would prefere new teams to start in lower leagues as well. It is financially an advantage to start in III for new teams, therefore not balanced.

Insert new teams low, replace at the end of the season voids with better teams from lower divisions (like in the past).

maybe its random, but we have 5 leaguelevels in germany, so i was thinking they might could change that and put them to lower ones, it makes no difference for me and the others from my league, but maybe for them. just to give them a easier start.
