If anybody else was a BB person, they didn't tell me. I got pulled into some games with a bunch of guys who all worked at a media company on 23rd St. They helped me look good. My JS and JR are back up to around an 8 or 9, but I definitely need to work at my HA and IS skills if I'm ever going to roll back the clock 18 years and not look like a fool.

I'll probably call out another game at the same park some time again before the end of the summer, probably in a couple of weeks. Maybe next time if I give more than two weeks notice we'll actually get a few folks out here.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Okay, let's try this again this Thursday (8/18), same place (W. 26th St. between Eighth and Ninth Ave.).

I'll probably make it out there some time between 6:15 and 6:30pm. My beard is a bit less scraggly looking than it was a couple of weeks ago, and I'll still have my sports goggles but this time maybe I'll have an American flag styled bandana.

We went to the same university (though I graduated and he didn't...), so maybe he'll show up and we'll pretend like we're best buddies. Yo, KD! If you're on BB, come on out and I'll pick you up on my team (if you think you can hang with me)! Hook 'em!

The weather's looking like it's going to cooperate today. I was worried about the rain since I don't like to dunk when it's raining. I pretty much stopped dunking at that time that I jammed my foot on the rim anyway, but in the rain I make big puddle splashes when I land after I dunk and that's no good.

Okay, summer's almost over. I'll call out one last pick-up game...
