I think you might want to check this out:
http://www.grid-iron.org/
Of course there might be more american football online games...
And if you like ice hockey, you could take a look at:
http://www.hockeyarena.net
And if you like rugby, there's
http://www.blackoutrugby.com
It's 2011, probably you could find something on lacrosse as well... ;-)

I support your idea. BuzzeBeater is by far the most fun of any online sports manager games.
I do hope the BB developers will make an American Football version of BB.
I've been to the USA and I love American Football! Even people from outside the USA love it!
+1 to you.

When I said buzzerbeater is the best online sports game,I really ment that buzzerbeater is the best online sport game ive experienced so far.
My answer to your question:I haven't
My question:Is there any sports game better or just as good as buzzerbeater?

Football is certainly not as popular as Basketball worldwide, but with the internet and cable TV it's now easy to follow the NFL, and NFL is popular worldwide even in country who have no (or very small ) football championship.
I certainly be very interested in a BB style football game. But part of the strategical challenge of Football is in making your play book following your player attributes. And for game play the fun come from trying to outguess your opponent tactics live. Doesn't need to have a complicated model, as I have played a number of boardgames who catch the spirit of the game with simple rules ans procedures.
I don't know how it will works if you have no control during the game.
