I totally agree with you.
I think this suggestion has already been made, time ago, and it was like the one you just wrote.

The fact is: if there's a WO, the fans will be disappointed, and everybody is getting refunded. So if the home team doesn't show up, it doesn't gain any profit from ticket sale. If the away team doesn't show up, it pays a fine to the home team equal to the expected attendance (that is to say: home team gets attendance money from the system, and away team gets fined by the system... there's no money transfer between the teams, that's just flavour).

Moreover I would really like to penalize teams who don't show up at scheduled matches. I think their supporters would be pissed off, and the income from tickets sale should drop down drastically if the situation occurs many times.

Seriously, this thread concerns an important issue, IMHO.
I'm surprised that not many people seem interested. I hope this will be implemented soon.

Please do not bump threads. The BB's read all the Suggestions forum threads anyway, so the extra attention by bumbing achieves nothing positive.

Sorry, I didn't mean to break the rules of the forum, I wasn't aware of that. I was just wondering why this is a problem felt in global and elsewhere, and here nobody is giving his opinion.

Sorry for that.

I agree with the concept (money should be paid for "walkover games").

I thinkg a better definition is needed;
1) What is a "walkover game"? - How to identiy it as such?
How many money should be paid? - I think you exagerated.
Should they be also a warning or game punishment (lose of a game, etc.)?

But generaly I can agree with you.

A team that dresses fewer than three players for a game gives a walkover, i.e., there is no game and the other teams wins 25 - 0.

What about a team who has much better players and just dump a game to trash by usign the worst (taking to excentric) players on their worst positions?
There are other ways to define it.

come on... you may be right, but please stick to the "official WO" :

There is no need to stick to a definition that may be not enough to cover all cases.
Don't you agree that when a user throws a game intentionally he should get the same "punishment"?
Is it important whether he did it by putting 3 players or less, or whether he just used his worst players on their worst position?
In case narrowing it to the only first case, then those users will just choose the second option, when possible, to throw a game.

I didn't write my post as opposing your idea, but the other way around. It comes to clarify and define it more precisely.

Good luck.

Then... how and where do you put the limit for "pini's WO"? When a player declared as a PG plays SF? When two players are not set on their real positions?.... So I guess that rwystyrk and the BC Hostivar won a lot of matchs by walking over...

1) I wrote that this definition of a "WO game" is needed to be defined.
It will be defined upon several limitations and needs.

2) In any case you can do this by comparing previous usage, and what is more easy is the part of comparing starting lineup strength to your top strength, for example.
