Well, if you calculate his cap number from the Josef Ka's coefficients, he may or may not be capped. Cap number is 16.59, and starter potential is reported to be 16-18. If the owner is lucky and his guy has a high starter potential sublevel, he could get a couple more pops. 3 more inside D pops would take him to 17.9, and almost certainly capped.

Add that ID, and he'll be a very nice center, starting or backup, for a good amount of time. He has nice secondaries, especially the passing. Nice job I say.

But, is there a reason why you're starting him in both league games, and then also playing him in the weekly scrimmage? That's going to adversely affect his gameshape.

Very true he will be very good, if you can get 3 more ID pops, he can even start and be very effective in D.IV. I'm actually jealous that my trainees dont have those secondary skills, well atleast as high as yours. and where is Joseph Ka's salary calculator formula? I cant find it

If you register at teh USA offsite, there is a very handy training planner on the tools. You can change the skills of your player, and it will give you a rough prediction of the salary, as well as the cap number from the Josef Ka's coefficients.

See my sig for how to. Lots of good stuff at the offsite forums, and other very helpful tools.

thanks :0 i'm training my centers and power fowards with inside defense because I'm trying to get my Center better at defense and I just got a great draft pick at powerforward and I'm trying to get him better so hopefully he can get on the U21 national team. and I'm playing him in the weekly scrimmage just so he can get more game experience. Do you think that I should not play him in the weekly scrimmage or should I just bench him? and thanks for the stats too :)))

I went from D.V to D.IV and now im back in D.V again. His game highs in D.IV were 32 points, 14 rebounds and I think 2 or 3 blocks and thats all i can remember right now lol

I think I read somewhere that League and cup games only effect experience but I'm not sure(Someone please back me up), but anyway dont worry about experience, that will come in by itself from league games, Game Shape is more important currently to have your team play at their best. I think each players minutes should be from 48-75 mins a week.

Well, if you play him in all three games, sure his experience will increase. But the reduction in his game shape will overcome that slow boost to exp. And he will play much, much worse with low gameshape. You should also factor in the higher total chance that he gets an injury.

Also, you are missing out on training if you spend minutes from your scrimmage on a guy that already gets 48+ from his league games. Instead use those minutes on another player.

I'd say u did a good job but u would have wanted driving to be at least respectable cuz Driving it an important skill during Look Inside which many people use and is considered as the best tactic. Also you would have wanted your Jump Shot to be higher as its always good to have a well rounded center. Even if the driving is low I would have been really pleased to have him IF his JS was at least strong or more. Otherwise well done.

That's more of a PF and remember his potential is only starter and ID is def more important than driving and js for that position so he will be capping. If his potential was at least star than your suggestion would've been reasonable.

I'd say that even if he is a C, JS is very important. Even in Inside Offenses like LI, the number of jumpers is quite high, so high JS will be very beneficial in getting those extra points. But you have a point, his potential is only starter I didn't notice that so yeah, you are right, ID is more important.
