Remember we are talking about maximizing your arena income. I agree the last game matters a lot, but it matters concerning mostly bleachers and lower tier. If you don't like the income fluctuation (when you actually make more money), you can set your price low and max out those cheap seat weather you win or lose. The idea of the fan survey is: evaluate your schedule, set prices that suit the toughness of winning before next home game.

What? You can't look at your schedule and see those league games you are playing in the span of those ticket prices. If you can't look beyond one week, then life in general must be really challenging for you:)

I completely agree with you.
"Last game" effect is too powerful and should be reconsidered.
I would like to add to this thread my deep disgust with the fact that winning Brazil Cup last season doesn't make any difference to my fans this season. Losing at the 1st round or winning the cup is the same for the fans in the next season. This sucks so much!!! This season I won't make any efforts to advance in the cup. My arena income drops much more than 50k if I lose my away game before a home game, so there is no point in advancing in the cup. OK, there is some profit when you reach semifinals or maybe quarterfinals, but reaching QFs/SFs depends so much on pure luck (due to random draws) that is better just focus on the league and forget about the cup. BB fans just don't care about the cup.

the think you miss, it that you often had the oppurtunity for an extra tie, or relativ hopeless away games + decent chanches to win the cup makes it quite attractive at least for me. Even when i often choose the minimun way and make to less.

An easy solution here (to clarify, conceptually easy, not implementation easy) is to either replace or supplement the "last game" effect with a "last home game" effect. Or split "last game" into last home/away game categories.

This even makes since, since only 3 games/season are on TV, it's the last home game that fans will mostly remember.
