Thanks, I'm already training one-on-one for guards during breaks along with stamina 1-2 times per year. He's level 7 in JS, Level 7 in JR, Level 11 in OD, Level 4 in HA, Level 8 in DR and Level 6 in PA. His secondaries aren't great but I can focus on them for a few weeks when he's older, depending on how he turns out. I'm planning to get him to level 13-14 OD next year and probably Level 10 or so for passing, though I'd like to eventually get his OD up to around 15 and his passing up to 12-13 by the time he's 23. I figured that training one-on-one 2-3 times per year along with a good amount of single position passing next year should take care of his low level of handling. I would like to try to get him to level 10 for JR by the time he's 21 and up to level 13 by the time he's 23. So ultimately this is my goal for him:

JS 17 JR 13
OD 15 HA 11-12
DR 13-14 PA 12-13
FYI, he has superstar potential and is 6'2.

I wish there were pigmen. You get a few of these pigmen walking around I'm looking a whole lot better. Then if somebody wants to fix me up at least they could say, Hey he's no pig-man!

(174881.1) You should check that out if you haven't already, here are the basic guard skills you will need for him to have a shot at U21.
Jump Shot: sensational-marvelous (12-15) Jump Range: proficient-marvelous (9-15)
Outside Defense: sensational-prodigious (12-16) Handling: prominent-tremendous (10-13)
Driving: prominent-tremendous (10-13) Passing: proficient-marvelous (9-15)

IF you want to make him a PG, you will only need 9 or 10 JR. The OD/PA plan with 1v1 sprinkled in sounds good. Since he is only 6'2", I wouldn't recommend training his outside skills as it will take longer because of his height.

Do you want to make him a shooting guard or a point guard?

A point guard because he has low JR and a low potential (allstar).
I'm just asking if he can be interesting for the U21 Usa National Team, I'm already training him as a point guard.

Looking at his skills there's probably no chance at the U21 and the potential doesn't help either. He can still be a great player for your club though.
