Still 3 weeks.

higher level doctors only reduce the initial amount of weeks and helps prevent injuries better.

So if you had a level 10 doctor before the injury, the injury might not have occurred or it would have been 1 week.

are you sure it does not increase with age?

In my experience, my 30 years old PG took 11 days from +3 to +2, other 9 to +1 and other 9 (not sure) to heal completely.

he might have been injuryd for 3.99999 weeks, still showing 3 weeks. That would mean he could be injured 27.9999 days, I see yours took 29 days, that would be about 1 day too long then. Are you 100% sure it was 29 days instead of 28?

from +2 to +1 it was definitely 9 days... and it does not matter for it if he was 3.2, 3.6 or 3.9 at the beginning.
Possible explanations:
- random (if it works like for arena expansion)
- age. I think age is included somewhere. Don't know if already in the initial calculation of the injure gravity or in the healing time.

Btw, I suppose that if it is 3.X, with X>5 it approximates it to 4 and not 3.

hi,
32 years old injured 3 weeks, need how long time to recover with doctor level1?

The injury system has just recently been changed, making injuries less severe.

Previously a Level 1 doctor didn't appear to be capable of healing anyone, and even a better doctor might take longer than the amount shown for older players. My experience under the old system was that a Level 7 doctor would heal a player in their early 20s in about the estimated time.

I wouldn't count on a 32 YO with a 3-week injury being back for the playoffs even with a much better doctor.

I haven't read the bug thread yet,

When I got my first injury that lasted more than a game, I still had Level 1 Max Payne. I rushed over to hire a new doc, and that week there was a Level 10 for about the price of a down payment on a BMW. I went a couple of weeks before I could get a new doctor. The injury simply did not heal.

After I got a doctor, the injury started to heal. Unfortunately, I had a swarm of injuries (I had 6 players out at one time)., so I also got some experience with the effect of age on recovery. It really did seem to be similar to HT.

It does appear that in BB, when an injury is +N, it really will be close to +N before a player reconvers (you don't did the miracle cures of HT), and a 24 YO heals about like a 31 YO in HT. In addition, BB has a shorter season than HT, the teams are smaller, and you have two league games per week.

A 3 week injury in BB is (1/5)*(6/22) = 5.5% of league playing time.
(a player is 1/5 of the team, and he is out for 6 of 22 league games)

In HT it is (1/11)*(3/14) = 1.95% of league playing time.
(a player is 1/11 of the team, and he is out for 3 of 14 league games).
