I would stay with a guard, hes 6'2 and it will take him longer than usual to get pops in inside skills.

Wouldn't the balance of the season cranking JR be prudent here? Youth, elastic effect. It could be fixed rather quickly. The balance of this season and next. As a 20 yo, start cranking Od and passing for a number of seasons. OD will pop quickly due to JR having passed Od. He will get 1 or 2 secondary pops in ID. That will be very nice. The rebounding will make this an expensive guard to own. I would almost think outside the box on this guy and be thinking outside based sf. With respectable ID and rebounding, it wouldn't take much to get these to proficient. ID will get there with needed pressure training. Utilizing 1v1 forwards on two game weeks from the beginning of his career until age 25 will nearly fix the IS. With this potential you will be training through age 26 anyway.

Both as a guard and as an outside SF, this player has merits. The only thing you should try to avoid is having to train his IS.

As mentioned before, training his JR for one season, and his OD (and a little PA) the two seasons after will already make him a useful Combo Guard who could even play SF for outside offenses. He's quite talented, so you want to train him as long as possible, and as long as you punt on his IS, you'll be fine with him.

Starting with OD would make more Sense so that JR trains faster because of the elastic effect

Oh wonderful, thank you all... so I will start training OD first (and some JR), after that IS. JS isn't necessary?
