Mine shouldn't be tough. He has a couple decent players, but they're already having game shape issues.

My opponent even has an injury to one of his top guys. Makes my job a little easier.

I squeeked out a win that was a bit closer than it looked. After 3 I was only up 2, but had a huge 4th qtr. I was rewarded with a 3rd round bot. Looks like the only tough matchup for our series is Extra Crispy in round 3

Turning our attention back to the Cup!

Pretty good draws across the board for the 13 teams remaining in the Cup. Still some BOT cleanup going on, which Cathar Heretics and Lake Charles should help with.

7 of us are going against D4 teams, Chicken Hawks and Demon Hoosiers drawing the best of that bunch (US ranks at 834 and 653, respectively). Still, shouldn't be too much issue there. Most all of the D4 draws should be fine, even with a CT vs. TIE.

Extra Crispy grabbed the tough draw for this week. "The Officials" are 3-3 in their D3 league, but I'm betting that's a pretty easy league looking at his roster. He's got nobody over $25k salary, and only 2 players over $20k. Extra Crispy also has the luxury of a home game, and after a tank last night, I don't anticipate them having any trouble with this one.

It's very possible we all make it into round 4 with this draw. Good stuff!

I always feel a little extra pleased when I beat a team who just killed their next week or so with a CT and still got beat, especially if I TIE. Like my last league game :P

Another pretty easy draw for everyone this week. Home and away games are perfectly split between the 12 teams and only 4 teams are going up against teams ranked in the top 1000 in the USA.

The Door Mats have the toughest draw, going against a D3 team with two players at $80,000 salary or more. One guy looks like he's averaging almost 40 points a game. However, they've got lots of guys for sale right now, and don't have any depth. Given that the Door Mats get this game at home, they've got a reasonable chance, but will probably elect to normal if they go for the win.

Another week where we can all move on possibly. But beware for CTs!!! They'll only become more likely the longer the D4 and D5 team stay around.

My opponent's ranking is a bit low considering the level of some of his players. He's definitely dangerous.
