A game is generated so that your players get training minutes, and also statistics (to be among the league leaders, a player has to play 2/3 (or maybe it is 3/4) of games).

There was recently an announced change to these made-up games. It used to be that they might end up 349-12 with the 12 points for the lucky fans all coming on FT, and only having about 3 FGA. Meanwhile the real team would all foul out since they would tackle the fake before they got to mid-court.

Well, the final distribution of the minutes is definitely not the same as during the "live" game. The final distribution was an even 36 minutes for starters, 10 for first bench and 2 for last bench whereas in the "live" match, it was as if it was a regular match, where substitutions happened when players got into foul trouble, not a fixed set of minutes.

Weird.

I know the BBs did change the way forfeits are handled, and that may be part of it.
