MVP voting doesn't work. The game just randomly picks one player from a playoff team with big stats and gives him 30 1st place votes, even if there's a far superior player on another team.

that seems to be true. my 2players has the best PER per 48minutes in the league 48,5 and 43,5, while mvp had 27 lool.... thats only because the guy had better stats, also my team is above his...... seems bs, as my players only got like 8th and 9th place in mvp voting. in real life 73percent field goal along with 50 percent 3ft along with 77 percent free throw 10,7 rebs 19,6 points average and 2,6 assist per game , all that in 29mins per game would have a chance to win mvp, or atleast 6th man:D here he has no chances.

One of the biggest factor is minutes played, and the according stats. A good manager doesn't give his star players 36+ minutes a game throughout the season, but rests them when it's possible so they are in the best shape when you need them. That's why good managers don't get MVP's for their players, because their minutes are lower.

Yeah if getting MVP is your goal, that is the way to go. I'd rather go for promotion though, so I'm happy having my star players rested without MVP awards ;) Keeps them honest and eager to perform!

MVP voting has been questioned many times every season ... I think it's time to change!

Say, if your team played in particular league first time, then you can vote for 5th; in second season, then you can vote for the 4th and 5th; and so on ... after 5 seasons in that league, you can vote for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.

The basic principle:
1. You cannot vote your players to be MVP.
2. The players shown in League Leader page can be selected to be MVP.
3. If you did not vote for MVP, BB has the right to vote for MVP (MVP could be your players in that case) after the voting deadline.

I just hope the game would be funnier ...

I used to think too that only stats matter for mvp, but i have just changed my mind this season !

One of my player just got named mvp and he is not in the top 10 in any stat category, simply because he has played only about 30-35 minutes per game. But his efficiency/48 minutes is great, by far the n°1 in the league. So he deserved to be named mvp and he got it.

On the other hand, the league leader in points and rebounds who played 48minutes in about every game did not get a single vote.

So maybe mvp voting is not that silly !

If you make your player get a double-double avg for a season and lead the league in both you'll get it.

Well what if your player is deserving of MVP? It wouldn't be fair that you can't vote just because you own him.

And also I think any player should be accessible to vote. For example, purchased a player that was leading the league in points per game and assists per game, he was also the second highest rated player in the all-star game (because he played SF when he's a PG) and he won the three point shoot out. However, since I bought him later into the season they never showed him in the league leaders because he didn't meet the required number of games to be displayed.
