They are starting to screw up like the NT.

If you already know then why are you asking?

This season I'm sure will be discussed at length during the elections, and I plan to talk about the details of my tenure fully then. But my short answer is the same as AlbusD's - we had an off year as far as recruits. With hindsight I would have made a few changes in tactics, but at the same time the planning was always fully vetted by the community and was defensible in context.

Everyone is welcome to peruse the game threads on the off site and come to your own conclusions. How the season progressed is fully laid out there. I share your frustration that we weren't able to do better this season, and have some changes in mind to discourage "off years" in the future.

If you are really concerned about it there are two things you can do:

1. Buy/draft an american player or two and train them to be U21 national team material (thats what I am doing).

2, Run for manager of the team the next time elections are being run. Maybe you can meet your standards of a good manager for our national teams.

I personally believe that the U21 national team was not provided with enough firepower in order to win some of their games but next seasons draftees should all be trained very well because of the contest that is being put into action in order to make more managers want to train their USA draftees to U21 material.

I used to play this game back in S19 but decided to take a break due to frustrations. At the time USA U21 was the best in the world, the dominance was almost at a real-life level.


I hate to give such a technical answer that gives away country secrets, but sometimes the truth is more important than not stepping on toes. You're right. The team was dominant in S19, but current management made the mistake of letting those guys turn 25.
