I totally agree. This actually makes the problem of micronations worse as well. Instead of micronations getting an experienced manager running their team, helping the local teams to develop players, teaching them how to train and manage game shape, saving players from free agency and many more things; we have inexperienced locals who have no idea what they are doing wrecking their teams slim chances of success, not setting lineups, not organising scrimmages, not scouting properly, putting all their players on the team etc.

Disaster!

A GM somewhere else suggested there should be a change. You can't vote in a real election until you are 18. In Buzzerbeater you should not be able to vote or run in an election until you are six months old.

We could start putting a couple of restrictions:

1) You can run for the elections only if you've been playing this game for more than 3 seasons
2) You can vote in the elections only if you've been playing this game for more than 1 season

A user voting for himself seems fine to me.

Many of these suggestions are pretty good.
I personally think that this game does not showcase the NT well enough. Many users play for quite some time before even finding out there are National teams in this game.
Ultimately the problem for this issue(and other similar issues) is that there are simply not enough active users in these countries to make the game worth playing whether with domestic or national teams. Better advertising could help but that is easier said than done in a world wide game. Micronations tend to be close to each other. I think all the Carribean micronations, the African micronations and the Asian micronations should be merged into 3 regional "nations", until a country can show it has enough users to support itself.

Not to change the subject(which is exactly what I'm doing), but Europe's micronations are not nearly as bad as the ones in other parts of the world. They at least have enough teams to fill up at least one division.

As you said, all/most "international" talk generally comes back to micronations, which makes it still related to the topic of low user votes.

Ok, ok fine, they should merge the euro micronations in a regional nation too.
