Welcome mate, I'm in a micronation too, started in the second league. This is my first season, I've invested all the money into the arena. You should probably experiment though, try to figure out things first

No need. Believe me, if you ever have the misfortune to cross The Wolph, you will know who he is and you will curse that day. His posts are, shall we say, legendarily vitriolic. On a happier note, welcome to Buzzerbeater! :)

Good luck then. When the first 16 weeks expire, you'll have to start paying the salary floor. Just buy a pair of players then, so your money doesn't go waste. First 16 weeks, all arena.

When you learn to manage game shape and enthusiasm, you can beat bots with your scrub players.

It is very unfair to talk so sarcastically about Wolph. Personally, I like reading his posts for their wisdom instead of tales to my kids.

I knew that after the first 16 weeks I will have to pay floor salary but I was thinking about ( since I just invested 300k into my arena today ) saving up my money until I have to pay the floor salary then buy players so I wont waste my money but I will be using the money I haved saved so far but not all of it and I will use the rest to build my arena after I buy the players to fill up the floor slary, sorry if I stated that wrong.

One last thing , I wanted to know , am I getting this right ? starters average 36 minutes , backups 24 and reserves somewhere between 10-12 minutes ? is that close ?

I was imagining getting each player around 50-65 minutes per week so I could train stamina or Free throw but at the same time everyone of my players would have strong-proficient gameshape

Hold up. Little bit misinformed there my good man.

Firstly, Stamina and free throw training DOES NOT require playing minutes at any position. So this means if your main trainee is injured or its a short week, its a viable option. Otherwise, train single position trainees 48 minutes for optimal gains.

The minutes your starters, backups and reserves play is dependent on a number of factors, stamina, fouls and your coaching substitutions. I would suggest always keeping your substitutions to Strictly follow your depth chart and having your main trainee play Starter, Backup and Reserve. This will give him the best chance of getting that 48 minutes training and full training for that week.

I'm not sure if your familiar with potentials, ages and trainees yet, but if your new to the game, Ild always recommend training up 3 trainees whilst building your team and arena up over time.

Hi,

some very short and in my opinion useful tips:

Play Take it easy against much weaker and much stronger opponents. Play Normal against equally strong teams.
Try to win as much games before your home games as you can (so basically away games) because it boosts your arena income.
Use Crunch time very rarely.
Manage Game shape as much as you can.
Don't buy trainees below Perennial allstar potential.

Difference between good and great managers are enthusiasm and game shape management.
