Once again, you speak with your brain and i speak with my heart. I mentionned on my first message that i was giving my opinion "as a senegalese manager". This said, the existing countries on BB may be not the ones who should be on BB. In Angola they love basket-ball and like i said their NT won 10 from the 12 Afrobaskets and people from middle-class and rich people have access to Internet. BB could me more successful there than in Ghana.

I guess everyone would love to see more countries in BB, but we don't want more empty countries. There are however changes required for national team tournaments, allocating schedules, etc. that involve work. This keeps new countries to a minimum unless a country is expected to get a healthy number of users. The African countries are not at a very healthy level of users at the moment.

Regarding national teams and Angola, they already have made their mark on BB: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rules.aspx?nav=Nati...). Perhaps more will follow!

How would you feel about an idea of having one league structure for Africa, so you are all in like Africa DI~Africa DIII or so? Each manager could have the flag of their own nation and their draft picks could be of their nation/language name database.

I'm fine with this idea. I'd be glad to play a competitive championship, it would be more fun for sure. I think those bigger leagues should respect geography. Why not an african championship or a league in the caribean. But i don't want to play a league with people from the Barbados, Pakistant and Cymru. People from Cymru could play in the Great Britain league, etc...

But how do you do ? That is complicated. Also, what about the BBB ? Between 8 and 16 african managers have played it this season. With an african championship, how do you do ?

I think they should overhall the entire league structures nationality system. Anyone from anywhere in the world should be able to make a team with their own nationality flag. To make it simple people should just be trusted. I am in Japan, and am forced to play with a NIppon flag and Japanese named players. This is okay I guess. Given a choice I might choose Japan flag anyway. For my own interests I might like a Brazil flag, USA flag or Irish flag. I might like players that are sometimes Japanese, sometimes Brazilian, sometimes Irish and maybe sometimes the nationality is USA, or sometimes Nippon, Brazil or Ireland. That is just my feeling.

Here i disagree. I like the idea that senegalese managers live in Senegal and japanese in Japan. I've tried a game about rugby where users choose their nations and find it very weard. This said, i think that the game should make some exceptions for, like you said, african student living in Europe for example. A Senegalese from Canada wanted to join our league but could not.

Anyway I think they should cater to the users and let people decorate their team page and players with the names and flags of the nations of their choosing. Volunteers will line up to do the work to regulate the community, as they already do. I can't imagine how much more you would enjoy BB if you could play with your own nationality p

The flags no cause it would badly affect some NTs. The players why not, i have no opinion. This is silly but i actually pay a lot of attention to the faces and names of my players. I have two afro-americans in my team for example. But somewhere, the random distribution has also its good side and make players with a good head even more valuable ;-)
