So if you raise a draftee from 3k youngster to 100k he will always count as 3k against the tax threshold ?

Is it retroactive to previous seasons of acquired price or is a new established price set start of season 26?

It is retroactive to when the player was put on your roster.

3k draftee that you trained up to 120k will always be 3k towards your over-extension value.
A bought 85k player that you trained up to 120k will always be 85k.

That's really interesting. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I think I love the rule. Starts directing the management of the game in the direction it was always intended.

Amen
Finally a real reward for training players and trying to stay competitive
and not just for training players that are either from your country or your own draft
in some countries there aren't enough such players around for top divisions

Agreed.

A pair of 5k trainees trained say age 18->25 who are now 32 and immediately after another pair of 5k trainees trained age 18->25 would count for just $20k towards the the tax. (you would have a huge exemption #)

That is when you can really load up and not have to pay tax even if you're over the revenue/expenses $0 point because you won't be over the tax point.

Big benefit for those that bought young players just before the season update
especially those that were of a certain age and got bumped big time in salary
they get those with the new levels of proficiency and the old salary per tax exemption

Is this official info Kumiko? I'm looking everywhere for more info on this overextension tax and can't find it. Not even in the game manual, which btw, can't figure out what the highest salary acquirable is? That can't be for a player, can it? And is there anywhere that tells you what your salary threshold before taxes is? (or do we have to do that math ourselves using buzzer manager - for those that have been using it for a while)
I'm waiting on BB Patrick (or an EGM) to open up a Season 26 thread in BB Global to hopefully get more info on this, but this has been super useful info!

Go to your economy page

In the Baseline Weekly Economy box look for the text Overextension Tax*

mouseover that for all the details

My training exemption value is Morales+Macindeor+ Hendel current salary MINUS Morales+Macindeor+Hendel salary when placed on my team

To the dollar

Highest salary acquirable is right at the top of the Transfer List page
-or-
when you go to buy a player, it is near the bottom also

Ahhh, tyvm! I can't believe I missed that earlier, that and the players salary list below is exactly where I expected it.

And my highest salary acquirable is 2.5+ mil, which just seemed strange but I guess folks in Div 1 and 2s probably can get any player in the game since it's not intended for them.
