Well BB is not the real world and its just a game, and players are at their best lets say 32 years old.
If you know that, than you shouldnt have a players on your roster, who are 33 or older,it's not that difficult:)

*Ohh,some advice I would never buy players older than 30,for my starting line-up,all mine players are below 30.
My oldest players are 32 and 35,and I use them only as backups,so when they drop in skills,it doesn't hurt that much.Just my thought.

Actually it is alright to buy guys for a low price(100000) who start for you over 30.

For you,but I don't really like those kind of players, managers buy them only if they want to play for promotion.
And then you got a big problem, they are not good enough for a higher level, because the skills gonna drop and you pay to much salary based on their skills.
But hey thats the good thing in BB,everbody can do it the way he/she likes

*And this manager is now facing the problems ,you don't wanna be in,so thats sorry to say ,poor management

Just like everything else, they are good, if used properly.

I think it's safest to have a mix, get some trainees, some national, some younger, some older etc..

You have to have a lot of money to have all your starters be good and under 30. Sometimes you have to buy 33 and older players if the cash isn't coming in.

True, but it all takes time ,you have to build up your team slowly.
It''s like building a house ,you don't start with the roof, but first you need a good foundation ..
In BB this means ,get yourself a few good trainees, with a level 4 trainer, expand your arena slowly.
And buy a few players when you have the cash in early 20,they don't have to be great players ,but just good enough
for the division that you are playing and you don't have to pay a lot money for that.If jou have found those guys, you can train them a bit,so they become a little bit better, you can do that easy when you train 2 positions like 1v1 and JS.Your main trainees will be the cornerstones of your team in the future.
When the older players that you have bought are no use for your team, you can sell them again and they are no older then 25/26 at that time, and you get you some extra cash.I know this will take more time,it takes you at least a 3/4 seasons.
But most new manager they don't take that time, they wanna move-up way to fast, and they don't stick to the basics in this game. They buy older good 30+ players,so they can win games because winning is fun.
But they are in div 3 and that's the main thing, but those players will be dropping skills, when they are 33+,and at a death end.
That's why I dont like older players,Iam not saying that you shouldn't have 1 older player, but if this player is your key player, then problems are there ...fast

* 1 season ago I was playing in the highest div in Holland, the DBA,if I wanted to I could still be there,no problem.
How ?? Easy buy 30+ players they are cheap and I would be save, but in the long run it would be the end of BB for me. So I decided that I was not ready for this huge step, and I thought.... back to the basics of this game, training and so now iam back in D2,and will stay there for at least 2 seasons more,so that my trainees will be ready to play in the DBA again.....I hope
