Just something different. The schedule would find the best game from each week and make it the "game of the week" and have the game be played at 3 PM or some other time during the day that would work. I think this would be cool because then, there would be a good game to watch during the day if you're bored and have nothing else to do. I think it would be a neat idea.

It was just something that crossed my mind. Now that i think about it, it wouldnt be worth all of the hassle.

I think your idea is similar to TV games which already exist.

Just another thought, in case of the score is win/lose by a tiny margin (or multiple OT), say 89-90 (4 x OT), that game could be highlighted as a "game of the week" and let's discuss the strategies / enthusiasm ... etc... .

I dont think its a bad idea. but moving the time is a bad idea! haha.

But certainly there could be a 'game of the week' asterix or something, just to highlight that its a rival game, or its a top of the table clash, or something like that.

wouldnt serve any purpose other than a 'look at me! my team is having a game of week!' bragging moment.

so yer, not a bad idea. but keep it at the same time.

Piggy-backing off this idea a little...

Players involved in a game of the week should receive a (very) small experience boost. I suggest this because typically in games such as this your mental toughness and your tenacity are tested more

Make it like utopia in that for supporters you can customize your home schedule as opposed to going off all at the same time. Now I would perhaps turn this option off for say the final week of the season just so situations cannot be prearranged, and I would expand this to allow for this to be tweaked for every game.
