so the player will be seemingly weaker therefor he can be sold for a lower price than a "normal" player with no hidden skills?

thats possible sir..

The training he gets from TC will be decrease and will be down to 0 after the season so he will not actually be sold in a lower price.

Well, then it's basically a one season boost. In this case what is the point to hide the extra boost? No one would ever see it except you. Also if a player with boost will be sold will he keep the boost with the new team or not? If yes it should be marked as it raises the player's worth. If not, again, what is the point to hide it?

I like the idea of the TC but I would rather give boost for a higher price, like 100k-200k-300k-600k-1M (or even higher), the raise should be something similar to draft points system. The higher price is essential, as the boost won't raise salary. Let's see your example, I have a center with 16 rebound, near to pop to 17. I will pay 100k for a 5-day training camp and I'll have a center with 18 rebound for a whole season (22 league games, 4-10 cup games and the whole PO)! If I train my center to 18 rebounds it would mean (at least) a 60k salary raise/week which is (again, at least) 840k/season.

Also I don't really get this:
1. The effect of the training
1 day training effect = the effect of 1 week full 2 positions training
2 days training effect = the effect of 1 week full 2 positions training

They have the same effect, I guess you meant 2 weeks of training for the 2-day training camp.

One more question: Training camp is available for only one player or you can buy multiple training camps for different players? If it is for multiple players, imagine what would happen in the first divisions with full of NT-caliber players and a lot of cash...

I suggest you to work a bit more on the idea as it is really good but you didn't count the effects and the reasonable prices for that and lots of other details are not clear (for example will the age counts in TC effect as it counts for "normal" training or the mentioned case with selling the player).

I will explain the details more deeply..

In Real Life Explanation
Professional teams usually do training camps to improve the team, specially the skills of the players.

In Game Explanation
The team will go to a training camp but it will come with a cost.
It should be a per day basis, maximum of 5 days.

1. Offseason Week
This is the week of the Training Camp

2. Playoffs Week
At this point, you can already set the details of your Training Camp.

3. Format/Details
a. All players that is with the team before entering offseason, after the day of the game 3 of the finals, will be part of the training camp.
b. Only one skill can be trained in the whole training camp for EACH player.
- so that the change in the coding will not be that much.
c. You can choose how many days will be the training camp, 1 day is the minimum and 5 days is the maximum.
- thats how they do it in real life.
d. Cost:
1. 1 day = 100K
2. 2 days = 150K
3. 3 days = 200K
4. 4 days = 250K
5. 5 days = 300K
- the effect is for 1 season only so the cost should not be that high but it should not also be that low because each player will receive a boost.

e. You can always choose not to have a training camp :)

4. Effect
a. The rating of your trainer will take effect as well as the height and the age and the potential.
b. No playing minutes requirement.
c. 1 day training = the effect of 1 week full 2 positions training
2 days training = the effect of 2 weeks full 2 position training
3 days training = the effect of 3 weeks full 2 position training
etc..
d. The Training Effect will be negated/canceled/erased after the season.
- Instead of declining, it will be more enjoyable and satisfying if the effect will be maintained until the end of the season.
e. The training effect from TC will be hidden
- this should be done so that the manager will not be confuse of the true skill level of his players.
f. The effect will not take effect in the salary calculation
g. The player will maintain the training effect even if he is moved.

MAIN REASON FOR ADDING TRAINING CAMP INTO THE GAME:
1. It will give the managers another dimension which they can master/use to outplay there opponents. With this, the managers has more control on what there team will play like.
2. It is being done in real life.
3. It will be enjoyable to experiment in your Training Camp every season.

I like the idea, maybe not fully implemented as you presented, but its great idea ... give advantage to managers that are active

sorry to be picky - can you change your reference to GM to just 'Manager'.

GM's are a forum moderator, so when you mention GM's it kinda gets confusing.

Just edit your post, take out GM and replace with Manager - thanks.

I wouldn't mind seeing an off season team training. Updates with salary calculation. Stamina or Free throws. Maybe JS and Rebounding since those are two position trains. You could go that simple and make a world of difference for hard core trainers.
