The tiger sharks put their starters back in with a minute left in the game, and cut the lead to 3 with 30 seconds on the clock. After a key defensive stop, the sharks had two attempts to tie the game and send it to a third overtime. Rubes, who missed a potential game winner in the first OT, had a good look at a game-tying three with 1 second left. The rebound went out of bounds off of the Capitals, and the sharks missed another three to end the game.
It was an epic battle and the REAL Tiger Sharks look forward to playing both of these great teams this season. Congrats to the Raleigh Capitals on a hard fought win. The squad is looking good!
