If you want to run, then you should run.
Don't let anything else change your mind

Above all, we need commitment. No loss of motivation or enthusiasm. Weekly posts, pre game talk and tactic discussion. It is a 2 season commitment.

I also want to vote for someone looking at future prospects, who will work with managers to train players to make NT standards. We can't expect that everyone knows this. And to specialise training for positions.

It's not a problem with any nationality in particular. But unless I'm mistaken, there is no precedent for someone who is outside of Australia actually managing the Australian NT. The user base has generally been too large for us to need a ringer from overseas.

That's not to say that we cannot make an exception if you're truly willing to treat the job with enthusiasm and can keep the language errors to a minimum (which to your credit you have done so far). It may however be tough to convince the greater community to vote for you over one of our own, if the latter is even mildly interested in the job.

It's not like you lost to scrubs mate. If you feel like you underperformed and you're motivated to go one better, you're probably the perfect person for the job.

And 'mooching' off others is part of the job. Whether it be the person you replace, the people who train the players and control weekly minutes, or even people just trying to drum up community discussion. They're all things a successful NT coach has to have working for him. How well they work is totally up to the person who takes the responsibility of coordinating it.

I am more then happy for you to jump back in. I have been super busy with work the last 15 months having expanded our business to a new city 1400km away and having to find 25 new staff and set up complete systems.
If you are interested in running please do. The main reason you stopped was the federation thing. Sadly with a smaller user base those with supporter is also smaller. Even if I did run and got the gig I would be looking to find a better solution then a federation. At present we have no way to add new people to the one with have also.

IF you ran I would fully support you and try and work out the best solution for the team and community in general.

If you don't want to run I will put together my speech and let people decide.

That is good to hear. How many active members are there in the federation?

I have pulled out for the running as the best person for the job has thrown his hate in the ring.
Voted for them and willing to help anyway I can.
