If ever?

It would be good to hear some clear plans on how this Africa merger will be evaluated and when a decision will be made about merging other nations/regions etc.

Next season? 10 seasons from now? Never?

I've been asking this since the merge was first announced. I'm aware the BBs want to see how their experiment goes but they must have already had conversations about what they'll do next, and it would be better for everyone if they broke their silence over this.

They won't though.

I don't think that that is necessarily true. Yes, BB is a long-term game which may not attract a lot of people. But I don't believe it's true that there are not at least 50k persons out there, who would enjoy this game if they really got to know it. In my opinion there are two main reasons as to why BB no longer are attracting new users:

1: Layout. The game simply looks old. The website is in desperate need of an overhaul. We need the website to look 'nice' when potential new users visit it for the first time. In addition, it should also be made suitable for phone use.

2. An app! My personal view is that this game's biggest problem is that we don't have an app. We just have to face that people use their smartphones. And yes, you can just play in your phone browser, but the experience is just not good enough. I think an app would recruit tons of new users through exposure on AppStore and Google Play, whilst notification would furthermore help to keep these new users in the game.

Do these things and I'm sure we would finally see the game grow again

I'm with Underwood, I think BB have more than 50k spread all over the world but they don't know the existence of the game.
Now just imagine if one NBA player send a message on Twitter / Facebook / Instagram / (Tinder?) linked to the game. For sure a lot of their followers would take a look and maybe play the game.

Well having an NBA player advertise isn't really necessary, although it would certainly be helpful. BB has a solid amount of funds earmarked specifically for advertisement. Why are they not being used? What happened to the supposedly legendary new checklist we have been waiting for? Some answers would be nice

This alleged developer coming on board hopefully will lead to the upgrades many seek. Of course getting back to 50k is a pipe dream, though it appears that it was all a con to start with as many accounts turned out to be bogus. Then again this game has lasted a LOT longer than it really had a right to, and in spite of the many doomsayer's out here I think we have many years of enjoyment still to come.

Putting money into advertising the game now, with its current design from early 2000? ... not a good idea!
BB:s design is outdated.
