I personally believe that the better the jumpshot the better the player. Range on the other hand is a different story. Centers/PF don't need much range so i'd be happy with a center/pf with respectable-JS and awfull-Range. But thats just me =)

There is no guarantees that the better the jumpshot the better the player though, thats just what i believe.

I've decided to ignore the rules whatsoever.

I've seen atrocious PG handlers get an average of 0.5 turnovers a game and still get a good rating. While on the other hand sensational PG handeler with a 1.2 turnover a game and a rating of 6-7 average.

probably its in how you interpret it,

the atricious guard your saying in handling probably doesnt get much defense or probably that league doesnt pay much attention to developing outside defense as a threat or lastly in that league probably they dont train much outside defense.

or another is his probably has better other skills such as jump shot, driving etc that could instead dribbling more take the ball already to what he wants to do.

another is how does the offense flow? and if he has good teammates that would be another, the defense probably isnt even considering him as a threat to have that kind of high rating.

just how i see it!
