The whole point of the change was precisely to NOT have that happen.


So who is going to play "playoff normal"? This is just no option when your in playoffs; or does a very good team enthusiasm improve your performance?
In this case you just have to have it before the playoffs start, and play PCT throughout the playoffs.

Your enthusiasm will still drop at the daily updates like it would if you use Normal.

That's a very good solutuion for the playoffs without going best of 3 in all rounds. You could still gamble with the playoffnormal (to have an advantage in the next round, but with the risk of an early exit against playoff crunchtime). I like it.

In some leagues, there is a huge difference between both conferences. So, while one team struggles to reach the final and lose all it's enthusiasm crunching all the games, the other one can take it easy and reach the final with a very high enthusiasm.
The first team would then have no chance to win, excepted if it is far better than the second one. That's not fair for that team.

The change in enthusiasm is to prevent that to happen.

Ok I can understand this; but the easiest solution would be to reset the enthusiasm level just before the playoffs start. In this case, CT/TIE would remain a tactical option in the playoffs.

There are going to be some tasty ratings at the end of this season...

Imagine winning the first game of final, Normalling 2nd (enthusiasm up) then CT the decider one update later.....thats after another season of skill ups!!

Im sure some teams can Normal with HCA thru til the last game and then BOOM. We can all look like Italy for a day!
