Is this prioritization right ?
No, in my opinion it goes like this:
Top priorities IS, OD, PA, ID, RB
Useful JS, HA, SB
Situational JR, DR

Ideally you want as much as possible of the top priority skills without paying too much salary. You will need enough OD/ID for the player to be able to guard players at the level you play. 11 OD/ID is often enough outside D1, but of course more OD is always welcome. I'd prioritise OD over ID if you need to choose.

PA and IS are the 2 key skills offensively, do not get a SF with no PA unless he has over the top scoring abilities. Similarly do not get a SF with no IS or he won't score efficiently.

RB is useful at all positions but of course SFs are the 3rd highest contributors in that department so you don't want your SF to get killed on the boards. A PG with good IS, ID and low RB, will often be a very good option at SF because the salary is low, the TSP high and he passes all other tests with top marks. Just keep in mind RB is important and the more the better.

JS/JR depend on whether you plan to use outside offenses, but otherwise they are secondary priority and low JR usually guarantees a low salary too. DR is similar: if the player has high IS/JS then yes, high DR may be useful as well.

Many thanks for the answers.

Based on your comments, I understand you'd pick this one (42944292) over those two : (40652978) and (41941294)

Am I right ?

(I'm not sure I'm allowed to refer explicitly to listed players as it could be considered advertising, I apologize would it be forbidden)

In a vacuum I'd take the 28yo, then the first you linked. The last one I would not consider over the other 2. The 1st and 2nd are probably about as effective in inside tactics on account of the 8 ST on the first guy, but the 28yo can be switched defensively while the other can really only defend SF. The 28yo also has a significant edge in outside focused offenses.

Now, you are not in a vacuum and age, salary and fee all matter. Leaving aside the purchase fee, the 1st player would be my first choice as the difference in salary is significant (800k+ over 2 seasons) and the difference skillwise not so big. This player is also 26 6'8'' MVP pot so you can reasonably extract some more pops from him depending on the rest of your training setup. Also because of his age he may lose less value than the 28yo although this is a marginal concern for all these players.

So it really boils down to the purchase fee, but if the 26yo goes for 2.5m and the 28yo for anywhere north of 2m, I'd go with the 26yo, especially if I can add a few skills here and there.

Nothing drastically has changed, the same skills are still important.

I have no time for this dude.
A guy asked what we think how an ideal SF looks like.
You gave your answer and I gave mine. We have all different opinions.

Just do your thing, train your SF-s OD to 30 and win B3 with it, I have no problem with that.
I just gave him an advice from BB guide, and I agree with all of that, simple.

Best regards

Find a 19- 20 year old mvp+. Train him. Up. It just the safest bet long term.
