Hello everybody,
The Titans are proud to introduce their star player, Atilla Günes (41666708)
Atilla is not only handsome, he's also awesome. As in he's holding the record for most points in a game, by a single player, in the history of Buzzerbeater : 131.
So one, Atilla wants to challenge to whole BB world : can anyone do better than him ?
In the meantime, let's talk about the best performances from your team or your players !
Positively outrageous.... A proverbial record that probably will never be broken.
Twice in Generals history we have had performances which made the leagues ledger for best scoring.
The most recent example was quite by accident!
(107055623) . On this particular evening I was actually trying to coax a reverse patient with a guard dressed at the 4, the player in question who tallied this near USA record was and still is a one trick pony who can pop the pill but not much else. In fact on his current team he is shooting 58% from Petula Clark range . On this night he started off hot, and just kept on going as he single handedly led the team to a upset that left the opponent rather upset!!!! When the two teams played again later in the season he torched them again for about 45. The guy who I thought was going to get the looks, went 0-6 and scored 2 points total. Bb is a funny Game sometimes.
The other you have to go way back when to season 29
(75713339) on this night the freshly relegated generals saw their hotshot SG have a game for the ages, or at least for those ages. What made it even more implausible is just how he came to get to his total. After 3 periods he had poured in a proficient 42 in a steady manner. Then the guy who was assigned to guard him fouled out and the poor sod who got the assignment going forward did not know whether to scratch his watch or wind his ass as my guy proceeded in the 4th and overtime to score 43 to lead his team to a thunderous overtime triumph!
Most interesting thing about both, far as I'm concerned, is they both happened on the road.
