I must say I love the concept. Competitive matches every week with similarly leveled teams and monetary benefits of trying your hardest to win. Couldn't get more interesting! Swiss format is extremely good way to balance matchups and remove matches where only thing to really play is that how big point difference will be. Hopefully this will be implemented to B3 as well as consolation tournament.

My only concern is that if the ranking will be the only measure to divide teams into divisions, for example I (WR ~1500) will face 1st division teams from smaller countries and 3rd division teams from bigger countries. It's not really a problem for myself but I feel sorry for the 3rd division teams that have to face 1st division teams.

Maybe you could implement some kind of promotion/relegation system to this or use ranking AND DIVISION of national competition as the measures. So highest world ranking 1st division teams would face each other and lowest ranking ones would face each other as well and so on. I believe this would make things even more equal and fun!

Anyways I'm extremely excited to see how well my homegrown team will succeed in this type of competition!

I really like the concept too, it's a great new feature overall.

Some stuff which are not clear yet:

- how many teams will compete on each tier?
- will the tiers have names/numbers like divisions have (ex: II.1, IV.43)?
- the All-Star game is also played on wednesdays. will the BB madness happen simultaneously to ASG? (finalists will play a total of 13 matches in 14 weeks). if not, does it mean we'll keep the ASG dull week for most teams? if yes, this sucks, it will be a huge missed opportunity to improve something which sucked from day 1 since it has been implemented

I like it, especially the „swiss mode“.

So even the worst level new competition generate same profit of BBB?

this is only partially correct. the new competition generates the same profit only for the round robin matches. BBB rewards much more for the knock-out phases.

It's harder to get wins in B3 and only 16 teams can earn more than the initial 20k per game reward. So yes it's a bit weird that you can get more profit in a less competitive tournament.
Unless they raise a bit the B3 rewards, which wouldn't be a bad idea :)

Cause right now it looks like this new tournament is more open, lucrative and attractive than the B3, where 95% of the contestants know they have no chance of winning and most of them only make little money (from 0 to 3% of their weekly income during 8 weeks)

It is unreal that this competition has the same money rewards as B3.

Win in both tournaments 20k, really?

Hope they will rise the prices for B3 games a bit at least.

This is where we hold them!

Agreed. B3 prizes deserve a hefty raise. I've always thought that B3 prizes have been smaller than they should. Of course I understand the rich gets richer point since there was no other way for others to get income. But now that there is competition for all teams, I could see doubling or even tripling the B3 prizes and not consider it an unfair advantage.
