I agree we should start simple if we do trades, but I have to say that:

TRADING FUTURE DRAFT PICKS WOULD BE THE COOLEST THING TO EVER HIT BUZZERBEATER

I just thought of another way to prevent the cheats on Trades.

We can have a link on the Standings page to a page where would be all the info about the trades done by the teams in that division. It would contain full info about the players traded(skills, salary, everything).

This way the people from the same division can identify easily the cheats and report them.

Nobody will be able to cheat this way. The only downside is that when you make a trade everyone will know the skills of your new player, but I think that's a reasonable price to pay in order to have TRADES on the game and guaranteed honesty.

that sounds good in theory.. but have you ever been in a fantasy league where trades were allowed and administrated by a group vote onto fairness... this always results in a huge intergroup fight, vindictive behavior, disagreements about valuation etc...

i'd prefer an entirely objective approach.

I was a former GM on hattrick and I have to agree with you Forrest and disagree with my very good friend Raonne, its impossible to just show/share the transactions between teams, always we'll have a person that doesnt agree with the trade and will point that as cheating and GMs will have a monster job to discover if that was legal or ilegal.

I think maybe maybe the trades would work if we had for example a maximum wage for every team depending on its division, so that way you would avoid a team having for example 12 lebron james/ or kobe... Or like Raonne once said to me, allow trades between players if the wage difference is not above 10% from each other...

Thats a nice idea, not see the team that is offering a trade neither the real skills of the player, just like the draft thing.

PS: Marcel Natividade sucks big time :-P

I just think trades are a bad idea.

Most sports leagues that feature trading only need to monitor 30 teams.

We're past 1400 now, and it's much too subjective.

The guy has C- skills (like domenico said) but still manages to kick serious ass every game!! he ahs the little hidden star like on Elifoot !!!

he finished 3rd in the brazilian MVP list last season. However in the first game this season I changed his position from SG to SF just so he could play face-to-face to the chosen MVP Jandinson Icaraí (from the Vitoria Shadow Pandas).

Well, i don't even have to tell you that Marcel led the way, had the game-high 33 points and the Devils beat the rivals on their own arena by 120-118.

he is just one more legend for the history books of Buzzerbeater...
