You can have +5 injuries with any level doctor. The effect of a doctor is to lessen the severity of injuries. The better the doctor, the less probable that an injury will be long term; and it will increase the probability that an injury will only be for the remainder of the game.

The formula that is used to calculate injuries was posted in the conferences, I bothered to dig it out once, but I am too lazy to do this now.

Either way, I am not interested whether it is 'impossible' or 'virtually impossible' to have +5 with any doctor level. Not much of a difference to me.

The range of injuries is initially a number between 0 and 10. This is then mapped to 0 to 5 weeks. In the case of a level 10-doctor, values of 5 to 10 are mapped to 0 to 5, and lesser values result in injuries only for the remainder of the game. For a level-0 doctor, the total range of 0-10 is compressed.

Depending on how rounding is done, injuries over 4.5 weeks might be shown as 5-week injuries. In any case, it is possible to have injuries that are nearly 5 weeks.
