When the time comes, you will be notified on the players page. There you will find a warning saying somethin like "ineglible for play offs". But I am not sure how long before the play offs start this deadline will pass...

Edit: But GM-JuicePats gave you that information :)

please someone help,
why do i have to put my players on thetransfer list for them to be eligible in playoffs?

you don't have to put your players on the transfer list.

they are talking about players teams buy and if those players bought are eligible.
