I disagree....

If you can get rebounding then go for it. I find for resale it definitely helps and also ingame there are always a fair amount of rebounds contested in the guard position. If you can edge these or even dominate them 70/30 or 80/20 this will make a significant difference to the possessions/potential score.

Also, as your guards improve in OD (and may get an improvement in ID) if they have reasonable ID and RB when you buy them they can make great SF's and help give your team another dimension from a tactical perspective.

In short buy your trainees with as many skills in as many areas as possible for the cheapest price you can!!
