No, the two methods that I outlined are the only two ways.

Player skills DO decline, but there isn't automatic retirement outside of a team going bot.

But when a player gets fired, doesnt he go to TL?

and what about when teams are left by their owners, do the players go to the transfer list or can't anyone get them ever..?

A very small percentage do, based on salary.

The others are retired and lost forever.

Are you sure it is based (only) on salary not a sklillset?

And all players on national teams at the time go to TL in those cases.

Salary is based on skill set.

But in this particular case, the determination for auto-listing is a specific salary cut-off.

A specific salary cut-off that is different for each country, is it not?

I mean, the new countries recently added won't have the same high-salary players as a more established country due to the lack of training.

So, for example, in the USA, the salary cutoff is 10k, while in a smaller, younger country, it might be 7k, right?
