Yeah so far so good.

Would really have liked to beat Italia, was quitely confident. Would have given us a probable 2-1 record going into the final 8.

Australia just ticked over 300 users this week so we are slowly getting bigger which is great.

The NT this week starts the next phase of the World Championships, the final 8.

Once again I think just making it to the final 8 is a real win for Australia as we just don't have anywhere near the amount of users that the other teams in the final 8 have.

This week we play Poland in what will be a very tough game, but a game really need to win or it will spell the end of our chances to make the final 4.

Great work again from our managers of NT players has really been the reason we are able to compete against the big countries & reach the final 8 once again. Keep up the great work because these next 4 weeks are going to be really tough.

Well our World Championship tournament has come to an end with our loss to Espana. We were still a slight chance of making the final 4 going into the last game but needed USA to lose, and of course we needed to beat Espana. It didn't pan out that way & we ended up with a final standing of 6th.

From memory I think we finished 5th in the last WC, so we haven't lost any ground on the big teams over the last 2 seasons but there is still a big step we need to take to get into the top 4 teams in the World.

As mentioned in other threads from people I have talked with using BBmail, I think it's time we get a new Manager for the NT, so next season I wont be running. Thanks to all the managers of NT players for there great work and comitment to the NT success.

To make the change a little easier for the incoming NT manager I think we should take advantage of the current off-season & try and get a list of all players who will be of 21yo & over at the start of next season.

I have included below a list of 46 players that I have bookmarked at this moment.

If any body has or knows of a player that should be on this list please let me know or add to this forum & I will update the list as we go.

Anthony Adderton
Dee Bana
Clayton Barton
Ken Brereton
Geoff Bulewski
Alan Bull
Sosaia Carrington
Ethan Chalmers
Tyler Chowdhary
Fredrick Davidson
Albert Diefenbach

You are a legend. Other national managers fear australia, mainly due to you. Hopefully the national team can still stay competitive and you will still help out.

Thanks for keeping Australia a feared opponent over your campaign.

hate to see you let this go.

im wondering if our gm would stood to his words of running for national team duty.

No real reason, just think that it's time for a change and let other keen BB managers a chance to get involved.

There are a few people who are very capable of doing a great job and I think they deserve a chance, plus I think 4 seasons or 2 terms is enough really.

Thanks for support mate I really appreciate it.

Yeah, i gotta tip my proverbial hat to you as well SHEP. You're an awesome manager and have done big things for the relatively small Aussie team.

You'll be leaving some pretty big shoes for someone to try and fill next season.

Thanks for all the hard work.

I am only new but looking back at how you have managed this team and what you have given to the Australian community through posts and information I think it is sad to see you step down. Your strategy, training and NT player information has given me alot to learn from for my own team.

Maybe you could look at running for Our U21 team next season and guide the youth of Australia into the National Team.

Good show for Australia again, and I hope you enjoyed the wonderful experience of hosting the tournament.

I know it was a thrill for me to host the last final, and whoever hosts this time around is very lucky as well.
