You spent almost ~600k on players and you have ~-600k.
I think that just about explains the cause and solution to your problem.

I mean, the super obvious thing is to lower your ticket prices (except courtside) A LOT. There's no reason to keep them that high if less than half of your bleachers are sold. Drop them to like $12, 60, and 500 (you'll never fill your 25 luxury boxes in IV I'd guess)
Are you training inside or outside? Hard to tell, you don't have many sub-20 yo's on your team. Sell your reserves and buy some crappy youngsters and start training them right so you can make a profit down the road.
You have a pretty good team for div. IV, I guess just hope you win the playoffs.
Maybe someone smarter will stop by and offer better advice, but there's mine.

Okay I will go ahead and change my Ticket Prices. I have never bought anyone and all my players are basically from when I got the team and some new youth that are really good so they command a very high price. Like Jim Shaw. Should I lower my coaches and start off with new lower coaches?

I'm training the whole team right now. I was training my outside guys cause my guy Jim Shaw is a superstar with stupendous shooting so I want to train all of them.

It's probably too late to lower your staff because you'd be paying a severance fee and a signing bonus and its just going to hit you more. Long term though you have to keep an eye on what you are paying them because you are still in Div IV and can't afford to pay what the big guys can.
Immediately lower your scouting to $0.
$600,000 in the hole is a large hole to climb out of. I can't see how you can possibly do it without selling a player. You picked a hell of a time to hit that mark though because you probably want to make a run in the playoffs. And if you lose you have all offseason to carry salaries. And chances are you won't get market for the player you sell.
You need to look at your comps and figure out a good ticket blend but certainly you were so far off it was almost laughable.
Stick with it. Plan long term. You will get it just have to take the hit now for the future viability in my opinion.

Thanks for your help. I am lowering the ticket prices and hopefully want to make a run in the playoffs, but might sell some of my backups to make some of that money back.
So with the coaches how do I limit how high they get as far as their values and salary goes?

Well you can't control how much they increase each week. I can't remember off the top of my head but it is something like 2-3% each week.
You can control how much you pay by bidding on a certain salary range and also limiting how much your bid price is. Not sure if this is even an option for you if you are in the hole but I think you can fire them for free maybe?

I don't have any good answers for you in terms of getting out of the hole you are in. However, a large part of the reason you are in the hole is that in your 6 "years" of playing... you expanded your arena by 35 seats.
In a way, I am amazed you stayed as competitive as you did in Division III since you had no real economic base. You probably did better selling seats in DIII even at high prices because you had such a small arena.
Unfortunately, suggesting you expand your arena while you are 600K down does nothing for you... you can't spend the money to expand because that just puts you further behnd.
