I don't like the idea, in case of National Teams.

National Team Staff of a country now puts effort in getting those young talents trained. If you allow such an idea in to the game, that effort can be for nothing. To mention at least one point against it.

I do however agree with MOD-Crazyeye that you could do something for the merchandising, if you wanted to. But I don't think that such an option will be an improvement for the game, if you want the merchandising money, buy and train players from your own country.

I agree...that's what I've done, but not really for merchandising reasons.

If this idea is restricted purely to affecting merchandising, I think it is good. I think that after a player has been three seasons at a club he should be considered as a 'national' in terms of merchandising calculations. After seven seasons, he could even be considered to be a 'club legend' and go onto an even higher rate.

NT wise, I think dual-nationality sucks IRL and is not a good idea.

Personally I dont see better merchandising calculation for foreign players as a so good idea. It is because there would be no point in training drafted players and Im truly happy for the way that you can be rewarded for this.

Drafted and domestic players don't have the same effect for merchandise. For the drafted player of same quality is effect higher than for domestic not drafted player.

That was the point, ok. Then I like it only if that player hit national team.

It is to keep life harder for high-league teams which just buy foreign players and doesnt try to reach other perspective.

There was a similar suggestion made last year. BB-Edju commented on it.
