If the BBs start assessing TPAs based on a 3M sale, they've now placed an artificial cap on rookie sales. And that's another slippery slope.

It all depends on overall market prices. If there is an overall increase of the prices, the bar set for TPA will be higher,if prices go down the set bar will go down
Tobias Kienbink, among the top SFs of the world was selled by Boston Celtics for less than 6M 10 days ago.If someone sell a rookie for 5M,I can easily see that there is somehting strange here,do you agree?

I think that the situation is clear to everyone that has a minimum experience in BB, it's hard to find a solution but the draft is a weak aspect of BB since the beginning.

I disagree with your premie that all players train the same in BB. Oterwise all players of similar height and potential would have the same skill. There are many many thins thainfluence and change how a player gets trained.

As far as your point that my view is narrow-minded, that's fine if you want to believe that is what I was trying to say.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

This is clearly a situation where TPA should be applied

I don't see any solution for this...

Some seasons ago i wanted a really good rookie, his value more or less was about 2M-2,5M(it was high but...). Started a bid war with 1 spanish div1 team and at the end i bought it for 4,5M(also because i liked the name of the rookie).

Its just offer&demand and i don't think BB's or GM's should start changing the market.

I don't care about how much do you want to offer for a player in a bid war,I care about the money that the sellers receive.
You can decide to pay a young rookie 6M,but the seller should not receive all that money(at least, with the actual market situation)
