Monday, the 3rd of September is going to be the first official match of Misr in new, 21st season. It is an opening game of African championship, against South Africa.
NT manager of Misr, Tarikz, was asked to take place at press conference before the tomorrow's game. He said :
"Firstly, I would like to invite all the Egyptian basketball fans to come and support us in home court in Cairo. We need crowd to be our 6th player tomorrow and help us achieve the first victory in championship. Team atmosphere is great. The whole coaching staff is giving their best to prepare all of players for the confrontation, tactically and phisically. We were having two training sessions a day last week, we improved physical ability of our players and I am glad to say that we have no any cancellation due to injury. South Africa is an opponent which I respect, they have some good all-around players and experienced manager. However, I hope that we will come out as winners of the match."
Team captain, Jibril Abu-Mansour stated : "We all respect RSA, but we are undoubtedly better then our rival."
When it comes to previous fixtures, Misr and RSA have yet played 21 games, where Misr won 16 matches and South Africa won only 5 of them. We hope that we are going to continue this tradition tomorrow.
The game starts in 17:30 on Monday, join us (if in possibility) and help us win the match !

We are the best !

I am glad to say that we passed the first exam and won against RSA : (21007)
We didn't start very good, RSA had a lead of 9-2 in the first period, but we managed to win that first quarter, too.
I am pretty satisfied with our defense, we let RSA score only 65 points in the match.
I hope that we are going to continue playing like this and bring the African championship title back to Misr, where it belongs.

So, today is the game of the second round of African championship. Misr is going to play against Al Maghrib, a team which also had successful start of the competition. However, they played TIE vs CT on last Monday but they still hardly manage to win the first game against Tounes. When it comes to previous matches, Misr and Al Maghrib have played 19 matches, with Misr winning 15 of them. NT manager of Misr, Tarikz, issued an interesting press release about the following game :

"Firstly, congratulations to Al Maghrib for their victory against Tounes in their previous game. That result is good enough threat for me to be careful in tactical choice. However, we have plenty of reasons to be satisfied too, we played an excellent game against RSA on Monday and we want to repeat that scenario again. All of our players play very important roles in their teams, they are also
in very good game shapes. Luckily, we have no injured players so I am going to send my best players to win the game."

Team's captain, Jibril Abu-Mansour stated :

"Our beloved fans are surely going to help us secure the second win in the Championship. We are going to play this game for them."

We expect you to come and watch Egyptian NT in 17.30, live coverage on BB Match Viewer.

We are the best !

Thanks for your support.
I will do my best to be online at that time but I'm not completely sure since I've got a RL football game to watch.

Another huge victory for Misr NT in African Championship. Our victim was Al Maghrib which trailed by 54 in excellent offensive performance of our guys.
Even though they played CT vs our TIE and tried to confront our inside oriented tactic with 2-3 zone; obvious difference in team strengths and enthusiasm + home court advantage left us at the top of African Championship standings.
At the very beginning of the game, we faced tough injury of our best SF, Ibn-Osman, but his substitutions did an excellent job.
Our best player was surely El-Ibrahim with 32 points, 21 rebounds and monstrous rating of 20.0 for this phase of competition.
Two first games clearly put us far beyond other rivals in the race for African championship title. All we have to do is to continue playing like this.
Special thanks to managers who took care of Game shapes and new skills.

At the end, these are the ratings : (21011)
Take a look and enjoy !

I would like to inform you that we reached an agreement over some players who may join Misr NT team in next few cycles. Their training plan is made, most users are willing to cooperate and I am glad to say that our NT won't suffer even if I put those players in the team in next season. However, I am going to think about it, some older players have precious experience and very good skills. Misr has great base of players now, our scouts abo hemid and Saltori have been doing a great job when it comes to scouting players. I would also like to say thank you to all the managers who train players for the NT.

We are the best!

This is the first time I have to write summary on Friday, after training occurred. I opened the roster to view new game shapes and skills and I was really disgusted by what I saw. Two very important players of NT, El-Amal and Ibn-Osman are injured and can't play in the next game against Senegal. Also, they have a great GS what makes my mood even worse knowing that our overall GS isn't as good as in previous week. Luckily, we have by far the best depth in Africa and adequate players to cover the spots of these two players.
I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with training of some guys. Let's keep this up !

I expect to write the introduction of game against Senegal on Sunday or Monday.
