I prefer simple rules.

Simplest solution would be to raise the salary floor.

No, there are too many ways to get around this. You can spend the money on arena, expensive and well-trained trainees, high level trainers. It's doesn't sound right if doing these things would suddenly gives you a legitimate right to tank.

Money spent is money spent. You won´t have it later for buying promotion.

Yes it could be done but this actually touches another game issue then few people imagined before it was implemented. Those beginners in small nation who start at Div I. They are already struggling to fill the salary floor with the money they start with. And since their arena is so small, it doesn't give them a chance to start at all. Raising the floor would hit them further.

I agree with you in that 100%.
In addition, raising the salary floor would just make it harder for the poorer teams, and not nessecarily for the tankers.

Here another suggestion would help: put the new teams in the lowest possible (bot) league.

The salary floor raising would actually concern new teams in tiny leagues where they start in the top couple of divisions but still have the 5k stadium.

I'd have thought that since the fan formula already exists in the game, in wouldn't be the greatest drama to tinker with it a bit.

TV contract formula could be changed.

It could be done through a formula that takes in count the teams individually and that changes every week. This formula could include the winner/loser streak, the position on the standings, the salaries you pay and the fans opinions.

So if a manager wants to tank during 1 season at least he won't receive money from TV contract or if he wants to tank the money he receives from TV contract will be less.

On this game we always have been worried to avoid to have 1-2 dominant teams in the leagues and hence BB's made a system where the teams can compete through the economy, picking the tanking system distorts the next season of that league or of other leagues(example tanking in D1 and dominate on D2).

It's time we change the philosophy of this game and do changes focused to give the teams the money they deserve.
