Kriegshauser does 31/15, Iturren hits 7 3-pointers, Engineers win against Lee Thal Angas 115-93
Australian double double machine Mark Kriegshauser has done it again for the Engineers.
Kriegshauser filled the stat sheet with 31 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block to lead the DLSU IE-98 Engineers against the Lee-Thal Angas, 115-93. Ace shooter Alvaro Iturren was also on fire from the three point line, making 7-10 shots to end the game with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block.
It has been a stellar season for Kriegshauser, who prior to joining the Engineers was at the end of the bench hoping for playing time. "I'm very thankful for the organization who believed in my skills. I always knew I had it in me, and I'm looking forward to give more. Coach (Franco) Zarate has been a great mentor and I hope to have more seasons with him" said Kriegshauser during the post game press conference.
For Spanish shooter Alvaro Iturren, It's a great start after winning the 3-point shoot-out. "I always wanted to prove to myself that my U21 experience with the Spanish national team was no fluke, and I have what it take to play against the more experienced players in this league."

Note: 35 year old Slovenian import Kristjan Holderhan of Lee Thal Angas suffered a minor injury during the game and did not return. Holderhan finished the game with 1 point and 3 steals in 18 minutes of action. He is currently listed as day to day.
